FIREFLY is the best Concordia 41 to come on the market in years, and even among Concordia Yawls, represents an exceptionally rare opportunity.
Only 26 41’s were ever built, and the increased interior volume compared to the 39’s is a major draw.
Structurally, cosmetically, and functionally, FIREFLY is excellent.
Major structural rebuild was completed by Concordia in the mid 1990’s including replacing the original steel floors with oak. In the 2010’s the deck, toe rails, & coamings replaced, & tie rod system installed at Benjamin River. Back at Concordia for the past 3 years, many improvements and details have been enhanced listed below.
Recently repowered. New engine panel, plumbing & seacocks, exhaust, shaft & PSS. New bilge pump system & restored manual bilge pump.
Repainted interior including head & overhead throughout & much interior varnish stripped & refinished. New custom Concordia bronze swing arm & electronics. Wiring renewed, rebuilt hand pumps, Hot water & cockpit shower added. Head hoses, thru hulls & macerator replaced. New Dickenson stove / oven. New lighting.
Table & hatches restored. New galley counters & custom teak engine box with new companionway ladder. Cabinetry repaired. New club jib rigging & jib. New traditional boat hook, new anchor rode grate, new bow roller, seatbacks, regalvanize pipes from pipe berths. New rudder & hardware.
